1st -6th Stroud & Ross-on-Wye

'Hiking with a Viking' is back on the streets of Gloucestershire! Ragnar the Bold encourages everyone to walk to school with shows and workshops on how the Vikings really moved.

23rd-27th - Portsmouth Docks

In conjunction with The National Museum of the Royal Navy we have created brand new 'History Mystery Tours' around the historic Dockyard. Join in the randon heritage fun for families from 10:30 -4pm each day.

May 2026

30th - Castleford, West Yorks

Legionary Marcus Aelius Calvinius marches back to the streets of Castleford for a 5th consecutive year, performing the much celebrated interactive Roman Festival Tour!

23rd-31st - The Royal Armouries

Saxon Story Hunters takes over the Leeds based museum for May half term and Histrionics' very own Director is on site, taking part in thrilling live shows, walkabout performance and stunning stage combat.

3rd - The Royal Armouries

Knights of the Noodles, assemble!

Histrionics metal men will be duelling it out to decide which is best, ramen or stir fry? It must be Wagamamas yearly AGM in Leeds!

14th & 27th - Milton Keynes

Join Histrionics on the famous Milton Keynes 'Redways' as we present more new interactive storytelling shows on the History of Cycling and the Bike itself, for 'The Roll & Stroll' and 'The Big Wheelie' Picnic.

9th - University of Leeds

Histrionics' marvellous men in metal are proud, once again, to be working with Leeds basded '3 Swords' at the International Medieval Congress. On Campus from 10:30 - 6pm.

18,19, 25, 26th - Dunham Massey

Histrionics return to create and perform interactive storytelling with a history twist for The National Trust's "Summer of Play" at Dunham Massey House & Gardens in Altrincham, Cheshire.

Terrific Tuesday Tales for all the family as Histrionics come back to the mill to tell interactive stories on the tennis lawn. There's mystery and history, fun and facts, and amazing adventureres!

July 30th -Aug 2 - Bodiam Castle

It's Knight fever for all at Bodiam Castle, East Sussex as Histrionics' highly popular Knight school is back for a 4th consecutive year. Stories, live combat and sowrdplay from 10:30 till 4pm

Knight School Round Two at Bodiam Castle, East Sussex! Sword-fighting shows, full armoured combat, storytelling, hands-on history displays and interactive children's battles!

4th-12th - Westminster

Westminster Council have become part of the 8 councils nationwide who have taken on the Histrionics' 'Hiking with a Viking' event. Ragnar 'the Bold' travels to schools in the capital with walks and stories, transforming school journeys into incredible adventures!

23rd-24th - Burton on Trent

Workshops on WW2 return to the Midlands for a 3rd year in a row.

Histrionics tells the true story of a Leicestershire soldier's real experiences of D-Day and beyond.

March 2026

11th-12th - Beverley, E. Yorks

Back at County Hall for our 4th year, charing the panel for the largest Active Travel Ambassador Event in the UK. Histrionics' very own Judge Dave and Gunpowder Plotter Thomas Percy make an appearence too!

18th - Central London

The National Modeshift STARS Awards and the Modeshift summit are back at The Royal Society and so are we! Hosting and performing a tour of Whitehall and Traflgar Square!

April 2026

2nd-4th - West Yorkshire

It's Days of Knights for us this Easter, as Dave the Knight is back at Pontefract Castle on the 2nd, and we're at the Royal Armouries Easter Joust with the group '3 Swords' in the square, on the 3rd and 4th.

16th - Sheffield

A brand new project for a brand new year. Sheffield City Council and PWLC Projects have commissioned us to create 'Smokey Joe'. An interactive event about South Yorkshire's most famous Smoke Abatement Officer.
